London based DJ, producer, label and events manager, Steve Westover is one of the hardest working promoters and DJ’s in the UK.In 2004 Steve created the famed clubbing brand FLAWLESS which ran for 8 very successful years. Steve regularly played at infamous clubs including Pacha, Ministry of Sound, Matter, Digital, Egg, Gatecrasher, Cable, Nikki Beach – Marbella, TIBU – Marbella plus was the resident DJ for the world famous El Divino – Ibiza for 2 years. Steve’s energetic sets have rocked festival tents and dance floors across the globe and over the years he has defined a whole new genre of forward-thinking underground house music that draws elements from classic house, UK bass music, Detroit techno, jungle and early rave, paying homage to everything from Todd Terry and Grant Nelson to Seth Troxler to MK. Steve has received support from key figures such as Roger Sanchez, Andi Durrant, Matt Jam Lamont, EZ, Defected, Pukka Up and Stretch & Vern to name a few.Steve has turned all his focus to the studio over the last 5 years and has had releases on Southern Fried Records, Champion Records, Killer Instinct Records, Pukka Up Records, Muchiq Records, Kingdom Kome Kuts, Bangura Records, Flawless Recordings and many more! Steve regularly hits the top 10 of the digital download sites including Beatport & Traxsource.In 2011 Steve was recognised for his talent and was signed up by International talent agency Represent Talent who now controls all Steve’s bookings. 2012 started with a bang and Steve was asked to provide the guest mix for the world famous Roger Sanchez worldwide radio show! Steve was also receiving radio plays from Radio 1, Kiss 100, Capital FM plus many underground stations. 2012 also saw Steve performing at Festivals up a down the county including Guilfest & one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the UK – Gottwood.2013 looks like an exciting year for Steve ahead with future releases and collaborations on major labels, festival and international bookings plus the launch of Steve’s brand new brand Purple.
